Setting Up Belkin Router Manually-

Step 1-

Now connect your computer or laptop to the Ethernet ports of the router.

Step 2-

In this step, you have to open your browser and write down the IP address of your Belkin router in the search bar, and press [ENTER].“Note- The default IP address of the Belkin router is 192.168.2.1”. Now click on the login button which you see on the web page.

Step 4-

For login, you have to leave the password section blank because by default password is blank. And click on submit button.

Step 5-

After login, you will see the configuration page. Now you have to click on  Connection Type which is in the Internet WAN.

Step 6-

Now you have to click on your connection type. Which is maybe Dynamic, Static, PPTP, PPPoE, or Telstra Bigpond/Optus net cable.

Step 7-

After selection of connection type just click on the Next button.

Note- If you don’t know the connection type you have to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider). They will guide you about your connection type.

Step 8-

In the very last step, you just have to enter your details which are provided by your ISP (Internet Service Provider). After that, you just have to hit on the “Apply Changes” button.

How To Setup Belkin Router Using Android Phone-

Setup on your android phone-

  • Open your android phone or tablet and then go to settings and click on Wireless and Networks.
  • After clicking on Wireless and Network tap on the Wireless Network Name (SSID).
  • And now enter your Wireless Password.

Note- If you don’t know your Wireless Network Name (SSID) and Wireless Password. Then don’t worry you can find this information at the bottom of your Belkin router.

  • After entering details just click on the Join button.

Belkin Router Set up-

  •  Open your web browser on your android phone and search for “192.168.2.1”.
  • Now you will see the “Let’s connect to the Internet” page on your browser. On this page, you have to tap on the “Detect my connection” option.
  • After that, you will see your internet connection is live now you have to fill in the information about your Network Name and your Password.
  • Then you have to just click on the “Save and Continue” option.
  • In this step, you just have to reboot your android phone and you have to reconnect with your new wireless network name and your password of your router.

Register On Network-

  • Open your web browser on your android phone and search for “192.168.2.1”.
  • Now you will see your new Network name and password as well. Then click on “Great, what’s next?”
  • In this step, you just have to fill in some of your information to register with your android smartphone. And now you just have to click on the “Complete Registration” button.
